Virginia Union Football: CIAA Champions

For Black History Month, I chose to highlight the Virginia Union University football team after their 2023 CIAA Championship win. The humble but mighty D2 Historically Black College in Richmond, VA hadn't won a football championship in over 20 years, but there's a new group of athletes setting the standard and expectations for the revamped program. I led the social strategy and execution for this project, as well as styled each athlete in Under Armour apparel. The following video and photos were posted on the @uafootball Instagram accounts in collaboration with the athletes and university.

Key stats/takeaways: Among the 3 posts, the content gathered over 3,600 likes and was reshared by multiple HBCU media outlets. Each athlete was gifted over $4K in product.
